Your event in the French Gardens designed by André Le Nôtre.

The privatisation of the gardens includes :

  1. A parking lot (for 250 cars)
  2. A wonderful Plane tree-lined alley with beautiful lawn on each side that leads to the French Gardens

The gardens in detail :

  1. a large alley that leads the guests to a terrace covered in grass. You will find along this alley :

– on the left : 7 vaulted rooms now used for the entrance, as lockers rooms, 2 rooms used as restrooms for women (disabled people), and 2 rooms used as restrooms for men (disabled people). There are also 3 greenhouses reserved for the service provider.

– on the right, labyrinth made of bushes that can be used for the reception, for coktails or for catering.

  1. A pound with steps on both sides and 2 flowerbed lead to another terrace covered in grass (400 square meters) with a statue (18th century) in the center.
  2. This terrace leads to 2 other vaulted rooms. The first one, made of paving stones, huge lanterns and curtains is used as a dancing room. The second one is used by the caterer.

            Number of guests

The grass-terrasse can welcome 400 people. In the case of bad weather, the dancing room is limited to 70 people. Therefore, if the number of guests is higher, renting a tent with wooden floor to settle in the gardens will be required. The organizers must give the owners the contact details of their service provider one month before the event takes place.

            Time schedule

Concerning the service providers : caterers, the rental of equipment, tent rental, florist, DJ and interior designers can settle in the day before the event, between 8am and 7pm, and the day of the event from 7am on.

If the event takes place during the night, the security guards must close the castle at 6am. Those that will remain in the castle will be the ones having rented a room. The service providers must clean up the day after : chairs, tables, tents, trashes, etc.

When the event is over, the garden must be close no later than 6pm by our guard. All equipment must be removed on the following day.

  • Inside the castle
  • a garden with green grass and flowers (the first entrance) : can be used to welcome guests
  • an alley with grass on both sides leads to the castle’s entrance
  1. The honor terrace and the Palamede terrace

A beautiful stairway with medieval decorations and armors leads to the terrace :

  • Honor terrace (360m2), orientated towards the south.
  • Palamede terrace (70m2), orientated towards the south.
  • Somptuous view on the Provençal countryside, at night we can see the light of the city Salon-de-Provence.
  • Classic style Façade (17th cenutry) with horseshoestairs : beautiful spot for the reception.
  • On the left, a cloackroom and restrooms for women, men and disabled people, as well as a smoking room.
  1. The vaulted white room

Currently using for as a reception spot, for breakfast or for dinner (up to 30 guests).

  1. The caterer’s room

The caterer can set up his stuff in the Chapel, which has many electricity meters. At his disposal : one private entry with stairs situated behind the castle, where his truck can hide. This access can be used by old people and disabled people as well.

  • The Portrait Gallert and Dining Room

If there is bad weather, 2 rooms that can be used for the reception. Total surface of both rooms :150 square meters. Situated on the first floor, they are used for diners, buffets and meetings (180 people max).

Otherwise : you must organize to rent a tent in advance, set it up in the French Gardens (but this must be planned a few days in advance, depending on the weather).

Furthermore, two smaller rooms can welcome small meeting or diners.

  • The Leather room and Antiroom

Total surface : 140 square meters, situated on the second floor : used for conferences. Equiped with wifi access, video projector, screens (80 people max).

  1. The medieval rooms

Situated in the medieval part of the castle : vaulted room of 80 square meters, medieval decorations. The upstair’s room is 110 square meters and has typical Provençal tiles. These rooms are accompanied by a huge terrace (400 square meters) with a north orientation, oak trees and a small garden.

Number of guests

Honor terrace : 300 people max.

Fallback solution (in the Portrait Fallery and Dining Room) : 180 people max.

Therefore, if the number of guests is superior to those mentioned above, it will be necessary to rent a tent and install it in the Gardens or on the medieval terrace.
